Gardening with Children for Nutrition and Fun!

FreePlease join child care center owner Heidi Lineberry and Alecia Marsh, Child Care Health Consultant, for a free hands-on introduction to produce gardening with young children. Learning where the food we eat comes from is an excellent way to bring science to life for children and teachers, and who doesn’t like digging in the dirt! Whether you decide to grow a single plant in a container or take on a large garden project, a visit to Sonflower Seeds will inspire you to start planting. This workshop will take place at Sonflower Seeds Preschool and Learning Center, where you will see first hand how to successfully grow your own produce for children.
