Common Communicable Illnesses in Child Care: Prevention, Management, and when to Exclude

FreeThis two hour training covers the most common communicable illnesses that children have in the child care environment, including what symptoms to look for and how to prevent these illnesses with proper sanitation and hand washing techniques. The class will also cover how to manage these illnesses if you have active cases at your facility. When to exclude a child for illness can cause a lot of confusion and frustration for both staff and parents. This training will give you the information you need to make decisions about exclusion and provide tools and resources for communicating these rules and practices to parents and teachers.
