Disabilities

Do you know a child who is:

  • 9 months old and not following moving objects with his/her eyes
  • 15 months old and not walking
  • 2 years old and not putting at least 2-3 words together
  • 3 years old and not interacting with others
  • falling down often, bouncing from one activity to another or has difficulty switching from one activity to another.

The table below highlights some key developmental milestones (things 75% of children or more can do) at various ages of early childhood. It is important to keep track of your child’s development and to act early if there are signs of a developmental delay or disability.
