Transitions: Preschool Pyramid Model High-Quality, Supportive Environments
This training will describe strategies for planning effective transitions throughout the day that promote a high-quality, supportive environment. Participants will identify the practices they currently use to promote a supportive classroom environment, and steps for cues and choice-making opportunities for supporting transitions throughout the day. They will explore strategies for planning and structuring transitions as well as for providing individualized support during transitions. Finally, participants will reflect on problem-solving strategies for difficult transitions.
