UPDATES for Emergency Preparedness and Response (EPR) in Child Care

FreeThis training is for Chatham County child care facility directors and owners only.
All directors and owners in Chatham County are strongly encouraged to attend this training which will cover important information about the DCDEE requirements for updating your EPR Plan annually. We’ll go over emergency responses to specific events including extreme temperatures, flooding, active shooter scenarios and tornadoes. Participants will also learn how to access your NCID and EPR Plan online if you’ve been locked out and will receive resources that will help improve your ability to response to emergencies more effectively. Attendees will receive a free NOAA weather radio and first aid kit. There will be raffle drawings for other emergency preparedness materials. Even if you have taken the Emergency Preparedness and Response in Child Care training you should still attend this training to receive important updates and information which will help you stay in compliance and avoid DCDEE licensing violations.
