Online Zoom Training: What Caregivers and Teachers Need to know about Child Sexual Abuse
September 3, 2020 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm
$5.00It’s never too early to teach children that their bodies belong to themselves and to give them some basic tools to protect themselves. Best estimates show that less than 5% of children who are victims of sexual abuse will disclose the abuse. Teaching children some basic things at an early age can help to change this startling statistic. The purpose of this training is to raise awareness about the prevalence of child sexual abuse and to give attendees some basic prevention strategies. This training is designed to give those who work with children and families information that can be shared with all caregivers and community members in order to raise awareness. Together we can build a community that better protects our children.
*You will receive an email 2-3 days prior to the training with instructions and a link to the zoom meeting.
