How is it going?
The B3QI program is making positive progress, having supported two childcare sites with in depth coaching this year. Through engaging professional development workshops with hands-on training, teachers are gaining practical strategies to create more enriching learning environments. Strong relationships with teachers and administrators have been a key strength of the program, with trust playing an important role in successfully implementing changes. While unexpected travel restrictions led to greater reliance on virtual platforms and limited continued participation at some sites, our B3QI Coach has continued to adapt and build meaningful impact where possible.
Successes
At one site, a two-year-old exhibited excessive biting. B3QI provided one-on-one support to the lead teacher and director, equipping them with tools for managing challenging behaviors. The intervention prevented the child’s disenrollment and improved outcomes for the child, teacher, and family.
Our B3QI coach provided in depth coaching and support to ten birth to three teachers, improving child care quality for 62 children!
