Family Resource Center Grand Opening!

April 30, 2026 by Steffanny Dubon

RSVP HERE!

We are excited to invite families, partners, and community members to the Grand Opening of the Family Resource Center on May 14, 2026, at 6:00 PM at the Chatham County Partnership for Children’s Office. This event celebrates the launch of a new space dedicated to strengthening support for families with young children in Chatham County.

During the Grand Opening, guests will have the opportunity to tour the space and enjoy light refreshments as we highlight this expansion of services and our continued commitment to supporting children and families in the community.

The Family Resource Center houses three key programs:

ChAMPS (Chatham’s Assistance for Maternal and Pediatric Supplies)
ChAMPS provides essential supplies such as diapers, wipes, hygiene items, and other basic needs to families with children birth through age five. The program provides monthly distributions of critical items that support health, stability, and overall well-being.

Chatham’s Success Network
Chatham’s Success Network supports families by connecting them with a dedicated case manager who helps coordinate care across multiple areas of need, such as housing stability, employment, and transportation. Instead of navigating services alone, families are supported by partners working together behind the scenes to align resources, share information, and plan next steps. This coordinated approach helps ensure that support is intentional, consistent, and responsive to each family’s unique situation over time.

Child Care Search
Child Care Search helps families identify and access quality child care options that meet their needs. The program supports families in exploring availability, understanding their choices, and connecting with trusted child care providers in the community.
