This training provides participants with the knowledge, skills, and resources needed to start their own small educational gardens in their childcare program. Topics include planting, watering, weeding, harvesting and general maintenance of the garden. The training will also provide tips and resources on how to effectively engage children in gardening to improve outdoor play and learning and healthy eating habits.

- Participants will take home materials to get started with gardening activities.
