Making Math Meaningful for Young Children

June 18, 2019 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

$5.00

Learning about math in early childhood is so much more than just counting and recognizing numbers. Participants will explore fun hands-on children’s activities to support children in learning a variety of math concepts in age appropriate ways. We will discuss ways to incorporate mathematical thinking throughout the daily routine by counting, grouping, measuring, weighing, as well as recognizing and creating patterns and shapes.
