In this training, we will be viewing the GO NAPPSACC Farm to Early Child Care training module. GO NAPSACC trainings are designed with the child care provider in mind, the full flexible program allows providers to focus on any of their 7 topic areas. Every child care program in North Carolina has free access to their 5 step improvement program and for this training session, we will be focusing on part of one module. This training is intended for child care directors, cooks, and staff to learn more about why providing local foods to young children is important and how to integrate locally sourced foods in your program. Participants will leave with local resources and ideas to start integrating locally sourced foods into their children’s diet or find new sources for food purchasing.
