Child Nutrition Education

Most teachers want to help children make healthy food choices but they face many obstacles. Some children are picky eaters, have never been exposed to a variety of food, or are afraid to try new things. How do you overcome this? Come to this training and find out. You will learn how to use education strategies and visual and social cues to help children make better food choices and improve other nutrition related behaviors. Participants will learn how to incorporate nutrition education into the classroom, improve their food environment, and encourage positive food choices. They will also receive free nutrition education resources.
