This training will use videos, handouts, and group discussions to cover: the importance of childhood immunizations over the past 100 years, NC Immunization Laws that licensed child operators must adhere to, communicating immunizations requirements to parents, how to effectively organize immunization records, how to correctly fill out and submit the Annual Child Care Immunization Report, and how to implement a child and adult immunization policy at a child care facility.
A link and required pre-assessment survey will be sent to each participant via the email used when registering. Active participation is required in order to receive your training certificate. (2 DCDEE contact hours) Active participation means camera on, answering questions either in the chat or by unmuting and speaking, answering polls, participating in break out groups if applicable.
