The RAR National Model has undergone more than twenty-three independent evaluations that demonstrate the program’s impact over time and across settings. Some of the outcomes proven in these independent studies include increases in frequency of book sharing, children’s vocabulary gains, children’s alphabet knowledge, and family library visits.
