Child Nutrition Education

FreeMost teachers want to help children make healthy food choices but face many obstacles such as picky eaters, children who have not been exposed to a wide variety of foods, or children who are afraid to try new things. How do you overcome these challenges? Come to this training and find out. You will learn how to use educational strategies as well as visual and social cues to help children make better food choices and improve other nutrition related behaviors. Participants will learn how to incorporate nutrition education into the classroom, improve the food environment, and encourage healthy food choices. They will also receive nutrition related resources.
